Wen Jiabao £ºWe should get hold of the intensity, rhythm and the way of the structural adjustment

Recently, the CPC Central Committee and Premier Wen Jiabao stressed the economy problem in his Tangshan(Hebei Province)and Chinhuangtao investigation, he pointed out that China's economy is in a critical period of recovery , we must continue to implement the proactive fiscal policy and a moderate easing  monetary policy, at the same time, we should implement a series of plan that can cope with the international financial crisis comprehensively; and we must think highly of structural adjustment when we are making efforts to maintain the steady and rapid economic growth. We should get hold of the intensity, rhythm and the way of the structural adjustment, in order to achieve fast and good development of the national economy.

In Tangshan, Wen Jiabao hosted the symposium, after he heard the views and suggestions of some of the enterprises he said£ºfacing the international financial crisis, we need to combine the promote of the stable and rapid economic growth with the structural adjustment. By the upgrading of the structure we can ensure ourselves a high level, staying power, and sustainable economic. From now on, we must continue to focus on the plan implement of the restriction and revitalization of the top ten industries, enhance the strength of mergers and acquisitions, speed up the elimination of outdated companies, and give strong support to the independent innovation and technological upgrading of the enterprises. Also, we need to promote the energy-saving and emission reduction plan, and focus on the cultivation of the newly developing industry, in order to establish a more solid foundation for economic growth.
