Australia's Fortescue sees strong China metals demand

Australian iron ore miner Fortescue Metals Group has seen very strong volume demand for metals from China, chief executive Andrew Forrest said on Wednesday.
In a media call after its latest quarterly production report, Forrest also said the major trend for China was for it to reduce its reliance on domestic iron ore.
