China will build aluminum smelting plant in Iran

One of China¡¯s company league has signed an agreement on building aluminum smelting plant in Iran.

The project contractor Shahriyar Taherpour says it will be the largest aluminum smelting plant in Iran with annual capacity of 276,000 tons. He also indicates the project will be finished in four years, and cost a total fund of 0.85 billion Euro, most of which is collected by credit and 15% of it is from shareholders by cash. Shareholders include Iran Mining Industries Development, Renovation Organization and Ghadir.
