China Aluminum Co., Ltd. plans to invest 30 billion yuan into copper industry

General Manager of China Aluminum, Xiao Yaqing says they plan to invest 30 billion yuan into copper industry and discuss with a variety of purchase projects. The Vice Manager Lv You tells journalists that the company is ready to focus on resources development and deep processing of copper to expand copper industry due to saturation of domestic copper smelting industry.

Yunnan Copper Group holds 54.3% share of Yunnan Copper Co., Ltd. Since China Aluminum becomes its biggest shareholder, it may take 5 billion yuan to restructure Yunnan Copper Group.
