China aluminum product output is up to 10000 kilotons in 2007

Reported on Aug.27 by Shanghai, a senior official says China aluminum products of this year is predicted to be over 10000 kilotons, most of which will pour into global market.

Secretary-general of China Nonferrous Metals Industrial Association, Pan Jiazhu said at a aluminum meeting in Shanghai that China has produced 5943 kilotons of aluminum products in the first seven months of this year. He also said, ¡° According to these statistics, output of China is expected to be over 10000 kilotons in 2007.¡±

The rapid growth of economy also meets demand of aluminum products used in building industry. In the first seven months, aluminum products export amount of China grows by 88% to 1190 kilotons, while import amount only increases by 4% to 402,177 tons.
