China is expected to raise tax rebates on exports of aluminium rolled products to 13 percent from zero, the official Shanghai Securities News quoted an unnamed source as saying on Monday.
The policy is expected to be announced no later than April, the source said.
Producers of such products are suffering from the economic downturn in the country and weaker demand from abroad.
The source also said it would not be feasible to prevent aluminium from entering China by increasing import tax.
