Reported from “Guangzhou Daily” on Aug. 16th, China Aluminum Industry has completed the Stake purchase of 91% Canada and Peru Copper Industry on Aug.1st, 2007. National Asset Committee said that it takes great significance on Purchasing Peru Copper Industry.
Professor Huang Yong, Securities analyst of Guangzhou Development Bank pointed out that this reform offers little effect upon listed companies. He said that, three large businesses of China Aluminum Co., Ltd: aluminum, copper and tin, which are composed as substantial assets, but the mutual relations between them are not strong, assets of copper and tin soil are separately listed are more likely.
