Zero tariff policy of semi-finished copper, nickel and aluminium will be practiced again from February 1. This action will contribute to increasing overseas demand on nonferrous metals in China.
As the first trading day on last Friday, copper, lead and zinc performed well in LEM market, while aluminium was not pleasing.
Demand on base metals has not been improved; therefore, manufacturers will continue cutting output in the new year.
Recover zero tariff policy of semi-finished products of refined copper, nickel and aluminium will contribute to increase foreign demand.
