The tax rate adjustment of some aluminum products does not affect much

From Aug. 1^st, 2007, the import tax rate of electrolyse aluminum goes down from 5% to 0, and the temporary export tax rate for non-aluminum-alloy aluminum strip is 15%.

The assayer Wang Feihong from aluminum department of Beijing Antaike Information Development Co., Ltd. said, the abolition of import tax have slight effect ion on both this industry and the market of electrolyse aluminum, for the price of it in domestic market is always lower than the international market. However, the adjustment will increase domestic supply and reduce oversea supply, thus the price might fluctuate for a while to some content.
