Value added tax (VAT) of minerals return to 17% from January 1, 2009

Ministry of Finance released that VAT of mineral metal products and non-mineral metal products would be return to 17% from 13%, effective from January 1, 2009.
Above mentioned mineral metal products include ferrous and nonferrous metals; non-mineral metal products include coal and salt.
