China's Corporate Goods Price Index, also known as the wholesale price, edged down 0.4% from a year earlier in November, according to a statement posted by the People's Bank of China on its official website.
In November, the coal and iron ore prices rose 36.9% and 0.2% from a year earlier, but the prices represent month-on-month decreases of 7.6% and 8.8% respectively.
Crude oil and non-ferrous prices of November plunged 16.1% and 48.4% year-on-year, down 19.2% and 26.2% from the previous month, respectively.
The electricity price in November added 2.9% from a year earlier and up 0.3% from a month earlier, sources reported.
The continuous negative growth in the past few months is a reflection that China's economy has entered the phase of contraction, according to analysts.
