Yunnan Aluminium constructing 800000 tons alumina project

Yunnan Wenshan Aluminium Co., Ltd, sub-company of Yunnan Aluminium, has approved to construct the alumina project of 800000 tons. The civil work, according to sources, has started.

The project locates in Matang Industrial Park in Wenshan, Yunnan. Besides busying with the first phase, Wenshan Bureau of Investment Promotion is working on investment promotion for related matching projects including NaOH project of 200000 tons, PVC of 250000 tons and calcium carbide of 400000 tons.

According to introduction, the alumina project makes full play of Wenshan¡¯s profound resources, it is a test for displaying predominant economy in Wenshan.
