Daye Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. (Daya Nonferrous) in central China's Hubei province has just expanded its capital so as to build itself into a leader in China's nonferrous metals industry that boasts annual output value of up to 100 billion yuan.

After capital expansion, the company has a registered capital of 2.952 billion yuan. Its main shareholders include Daye Nonferrous Metals Company, China Cinda Asset Management Co., China Huarong Asset Management Co., China Construction Bank (CCB) Hubei Branch, China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd., and Hubei State-owned Asssets Supervision and Administration.

In June this year, China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. (600900.SH, subsidiary of China Three Gorges Project Corporation) invested one billion yuan in Daya Nonferrous, with the aim to double the latter's resource reserve by 2010.
