Big state-linked Chinese companies such as Minmetals and Aluminium Corp of China (Chinalco) will have "easy" access to financing if they decide to go ahead, as speculated in the press, to invest in Australia's OZ Minerals, said Chinese market sources.
OZ's share price has seen a battering recently as it moves to meet refinancing deadlines amid the threat of a class action lawsuit by former and current shareholders alleging misleading and deceptive conduct.
