Wuhu raises export tax rebate of some commodities, benefiting nonferrous industry

According to Wufu Taxation Bureau, starting from December 1, the city will begin implementing the policy of raising export tax rebate rate for some commodities, benefiting export companies in Wuhu of above 80%.

The State Council will further raise export rebate rate of 3770 items of high-labor as well as mechanical and electrical products to support development of small and mid-sized companies.

By this action, companies of above 82% in the city will be benefited, especially for those of textile, clothing, mechanical and electrical products and nonferrous metals processing, etc.

According to calculation, the city¡¯s December increase of export rebate will be 20 million yuan, and in 2009, it will be 0.18 billion yuan.
