Chinese enterprise will invest 1 billion dollars on constructing aluminium plant in Guyana

According to sources, China Mining Company declared to invest 1 billion dollars on constructing an aluminium plant in northwest Guyana.

Besides, top bauxite in Guyana--Bosai Minerals Group expressed their expectation to receive finance assistance of 0.7 billion dollars from China in the global financial crisis.

The project was planned to start next year, while is likely to be postponed due to the global financial crisis.

The aluminium plant can reach capacity of 1 million tons when put into production.
