The Nonferrous Metals Association advised the government of expand aluminium storage in order to cut Business inventories. Wen Xianjun, Director of sub Association of the Nonferrous Metals Association said on Friday that they have delivered the recommendation to the government.
“We have advised the government to purchase aluminum, which also may be disapproved,” added Wen Xianjun. According to souces, the State Materials Reserve Bureau has now stored with primary aluminum of 100000-200000 tons, equaling to apparent consumption of about nine months.
If this recommendation is approved, enterprises including Chalco will gain profit as aluminium has been piling up since this summer.
