The state Development and Reform Commission issued “ The economic analysis of aluminum industry in the first quarter” yesterday. The report says that in the future time, alumina price will be stable. Since the increase of the output and decrease of export, the domestic prices will drop steadily.
Data show that a quarter of the smelter's output 2.77 million tons, an increase of 36.6%; 4.27 million tons of alumina. growth unsatisfied aluminum fabrication build 2.13 million tons, an increase of 43%. Preliminary estimates current annual alumina production capacity of 17 million tons of electrolytic aluminum production capacity of 12.5 million tons.
The data show that in the first quarter the output of electrolytic aluminum is 2.77 million tons, an increase of 36.6%, the alumina is 4.27 million tons, an increase of 53.7%, the aluminum processing plate is 2.13 million tons, an increase of 43%. It is estimated preliminarily that the current annual yield of alumina is 17 million tons.
