Tianjin Tiantie plans to develop auto sheet

It is reported that Siemens has lately signed an USD 10 million agreement with Tianjin Tiantie Metallurgic Group HRC Co Ltd a subsidiary of the group to provide a set of craft equipments for the latter's newly built continuous anneal line, which is a part of CR plant who produces the high grade strip for the auto industry. As predicted, the project is set to start production in August 2010.

Tianjin Tiantie, located in Shexian County, Hebei province, now is adjusting the products mix to flat products from longs. In the mean time, it plans to expand its production capacity for the HRC/CRC.
