The first cold tandem rolling line of aluminium strip to in test operation

July 18 to 19, China¡¯s first double-rack cold tandem rolling line of aluminium strip was successfully installed, marking a new step for aluminium industry of China.

This line is expected to start test operation in December 2008.

The project of cold tandem rolling line of Southwest Aluminium started construction on April 23, 2007.

By the end of 2007, there are in the world only countries include America, Japan, Germany, France, Korea, Russia and Brazil that own the cold tandem rolling line of aluminium strip. And China is going to join them in 2009.
