China aluminum signed an agreement with Austria aluminum.

The spokesman of China aluminum said that May 26 the company would sign the contract with Australian local mineral dealers to establish a bauxite mining project with investment of 2.4 billion dollars in Queensland, north east of Australia. The spokesman claimed that China aluminum had been negotiating with Aurukun region for a long time in order to confirm the relevant details about the land use rights. On behalf of China aluminum company, Chinese government has consulted with Australian government and Queensland government and expected to financial support from the latter for infrastructure construction and land holders negotiations. Bauxite is the raw material of aluminum products.
