    Novelis Brazil Facility and Can Recycling System Certified to the Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Chain of Custody Standard

    Novelis' aluminum rolling plant in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil, as well as 14 aluminum can recycling centers and 1 distribution center across Brazil, have successfully achieved ASI Chain of Custody (CoC) Standard V1 (2017) certification. The Pindamonhangaba aluminum processing plant is one of Shangda's comprehensive factories specializing in beverage can recycling and aluminum rolled products. Its annual output of aluminum sheets is about 694,000 tons, mainly for beverage packaging.

    The Aluminum Stewardship Initiative (ASI) announced on December 12 that Novelis Brazil's Pindamonhangaba aluminum rolling plant and its aluminum recycling centers across Brazil (Cariacica Distribution Center and Collection Centers: Cariacica Distribution Center and the Collection Centers at: Ananindeua, Bauru, Brasília, Campinas, Curitiba , JuizdeFora, Parnamirim, Pindamonhangaba, Recife, Jo?oPessoa, S?oPaulo, Sert?ozinho, Salvador, S?oGon?alo) have successfully passed the ASI chain of custody standard certification.
