Tuopu Group announced on the evening of December 12 that it plans to raise no more than 4 billion yuan, which will be used for Chongqing's annual production of 1.2 million sets of lightweight chassis systems and 600,000 sets of automotive interior functional parts projects, Ningbo Qianwan's annual production of 2.2 million 8 projects including 10,000 sets of lightweight chassis systems.
The main business of Tuopu Group is the R&D, production and sales of auto parts. In recent years, on the basis of the original shock absorber and interior functional parts business, the company has actively deployed lightweight chassis system modules, automotive electronics and thermal management system business as future strategic development projects, in order to adapt to the electrification, intelligence and Lightweight development trend.
At present, the main products of Tuopu Group include eight business segments including automotive NVH shock absorption system, interior and exterior decoration system, lightweight body, intelligent cockpit components, thermal management system, chassis system, air suspension, and intelligent driving system. The main customers include international Domestic smart electric car companies and traditional OEM car companies, etc.
From January to September 2022, the production capacity of Tuopu Group's chassis system will be 3 million sets, and the production capacity of interior functional parts will be 5 million sets. The production capacity of thermal management system will be 500,000 sets. In terms of production and market demand, it is urgent to break through the bottleneck of production capacity and keep up with the development trend of the industry.
In order to reserve production capacity in advance, Tuopu Group has implemented a non-public offering of shares to raise funds in 2021 to build an automotive lightweight chassis system project to expand production.
