A few days ago, Tuopu Group released official news that the company's smart factory in Shou County, Anhui Province has officially started construction recently. This project is located in Xinqiao International Industrial Park, Shou County, Huainan City, Anhui Province. The first phase covers an area of ??200 mu, with an estimated total investment of 1.5 billion yuan. The designed annual production capacity is 500,000 sets of lightweight chassis and 500,000 sets of vehicle acoustic kits.
It is reported that this project mainly provides localized services for car companies such as NIO and BYD, with a supporting radius of about 10-50KM. Tuopu Group said that this project can meet the production capacity needs of customers, reduce costs and enhance competitiveness, and at the same time play a role in strengthening and supplementing the new energy automobile industry chain in the region.
Today, in view of driving range and battery cost factors, the demand for lightweight chassis of new energy vehicles has exploded, and the global lightweight chassis is facing the bottleneck of insufficient production capacity.
Tuopu Group has the design, verification and production capabilities of lightweight chassis systems. From the perspective of production, Tuopu Group's lightweight chassis business is based on a 2,200-acre production base in Ningbo. Establish factories in Poland, Mexico, etc.
Among them, the Ningbo production base provides lightweight chassis for global customers, which can realize multi-process and multi-variety collaboration, maximize the OEE of factory and equipment utilization, and reduce costs. Factories outside Ningbo can provide customers with close-range supporting facilities to improve QSTP and customer satisfaction.
