There are 4 electrolytic aluminum plants in Shanxi Province, belonging to 4 companies, with a production capacity of 1.23 million tons of electrolytic aluminum, namely Chalco China Resources Co., Ltd. (500,000 tons), Jinneng Group Shuozhou Energy Aluminum-Si Alloy Co., Ltd. (70,000 tons) ), Zhaofeng Aluminum Co., Ltd. (230,000 tons), Chinalco Shanxi New Materials Co., Ltd. (430,000 tons).
1. Shanxi Chalco China Resources Co., Ltd.
Founded in November 2015, it is located in Xing County, Luliang City, Shanxi Province, with a registered capital of 1.64175 billion yuan. Contributed in a ratio of 4:2:2:2, the first phase of a 500,000-ton electrolytic aluminum project has been constructed and put into operation. Shanxi Zhongrun Project takes advantage of the rich coal and aluminum resources in Lvliang Xing County and Jinneng Power’s local power grid to build 368 domestic advanced energy-saving 500KA electrolyzers and auxiliary systems. The construction officially started in June 2016 and has been completed and put into production. .
