    In October, the output of primary aluminum in Russia and Eastern Europe increased by 4% month-on-month

    According to foreign media reports, in October 2022, the output of primary aluminum in Russia and Eastern Europe will be 344,000 tons, an increase of 3.61% from 332,000 tons in the previous month, and a slight decrease of 2.27% from 350,200 tons in the same period last year. But the average daily output remained at 111,100 tons last month.

    From January to October, the output of primary aluminum in the region was 3.405 million tons, a decrease of 1.28% from 3.449 million tons in the same period last year; in Western and Central Europe, the output of primary aluminum in October was 236,000 tons, a decrease of 5.2% from the previous month. 10,000 tons decreased by 15.41%.

    Daily production averaged 7,600 tons in October, down 300 tons from 7,900 tons in the previous month. From January to October, primary aluminum production in the region was 2.456 million tons, compared with 2.783 million tons in the same period last year. Source:
