Changing regulations and customer expectations and demands are increasingly affecting the automotive industry and its entire supply chain. Therefore, car manufacturers and suppliers, as well as the carbon footprint of their products, are receiving more and more attention. Perceptions related to climate change are constantly changing. Ronal Group, a car wheel manufacturer based in H?rkingen, Switzerland, has developed and launched the new R70 aluminum wheels, which are carbon neutral.
For the production of this product, Ronal Group has ensured that it can significantly reduce the greenhouse gas emissions in the aluminum production and wheel manufacturing process, and any remaining carbon emissions can be fully offset by the carbon sink certificate obtained by the group. With this new carbon-neutral wheel, the Ronal Group reaffirms its "care for the environment and future generations, and its role as a leader in driving innovation and technology"1.
