The fuel consumption per ton of aluminum coils processed into aluminum coils is 60 cubic meters of natural gas. The processing cost of one ton of aluminum coils in Henan has increased by 114 yuan. The cost of coil processing increased by 178 yuan; processing aluminum ingots as raw materials into aluminum coils consumes 80 cubic meters of natural gas per ton. The processing cost of one ton of aluminum coils in Henan increased by 152 yuan, and the processing cost of one ton of aluminum coils in Shandong increased by 237 yuan. The rise in the price of natural gas for industrial use has significantly increased the production cost of aluminum sheet, strip and foil enterprises.
Henan Province is the largest province in China's aluminum processing industry. The designed production capacity of aluminum sheet, strip and foil enterprises in Henan Province totals 5.5 million tons, accounting for 35.1% of the country's total production capacity. Among them, Huiguo Town in Gongyi City has a total designed production capacity of 4.17 million tons, Jiaozuo area has a total designed production capacity of 150,000 tons, and Zhengzhou has a total designed production capacity of 280,000 tons.
The operating rate of leading domestic aluminum downstream processing enterprises fell by 1 percentage point from last week to 66.2%.
