On October 27, Chinalco Guangxi Branch and Pingguo Aluminum Co., Ltd. held an enlarged meeting of the safety committee in the fourth quarter of 2022. Huang Weiping, Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of Guangxi Branch, Chairman of Guangxi Hualei New Materials Co., Ltd., Chen Guangzhan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Executive Deputy General Manager and Chairman of the Labor Union of Guangxi Branch, Li Weiyang, Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of Guangxi Branch, He Haibo, Deputy General Manager, Senior Specialist Wu Yubo, General Manager of Pingguo Aluminum, Zhou Sports, Assistant General Manager of Guangxi Branch, Zhang Zhongyun, Zhong Sheng, and the principals of the secondary units and functional departments of Guangxi Branch and Pingguo Aluminum attended the meeting.
At the meeting, the Safety and Environmental Protection Department of Guangxi Branch summarized the safety and environmental protection work in the third quarter, affirmed the highlights of the work, pointed out the existing problems and deficiencies, and arranged to deploy the key safety and environmental protection work in the fourth quarter. The person in charge of the relevant unit reported the problems that needed the company's help to coordinate and solve, and the company leader put forward specific guidance. Leaders participating in the meeting focused on strengthening the safety management of the metal gallium production and recycling project, preparing for the audit of Chinalco's occupational health and safety standardization system and ecological and environmental protection precision management system, strengthening the management of foreign personnel entering the factory, and paying attention to the findings of safety and environmental protection inspections by superiors. Specific work requirements have been put forward in terms of rectification of problems, strengthening of contractor management, investigation and management of fire hazards, deepening maintenance safety management and traffic safety management and control, and active promotion of mining area reclamation.
