Chinese HDG export market remain quiet

It is reported that Chinese hot dipped galvanized coil prices are still down this week and this is also the case with export quotations.

On Shanghai market, 1.0mm HDG by Anshan steel is being quoted at CNY 4580 per tonne down by CNY 20 per tonne from last Friday. That for 0.5mm HDG by private steel makers is at CNY 4850 per tonne decrease by CNY 250 per tonne.

Prevailing export quotation for 1.0mm HDG Z120 goes at around USD 700 per tonne to USD 750 per tonne FOB down from USD 750 per tonne to USD 770 per tonne FOB from early last week. There seems to be room for further decrease in the coming weeks.
