The industry chain of Shanghai Energy initially forms

The 2006 annual shareholders meeting of Shanghai Datun Energy Co., Ltd was held recently. In 2006, the production and operation of the company were all in good condition, and the economic benefit improved steadily, achieving primary business income of 431,723 million yuan, a 16.19% increase over the same period last year, and making a net profit of 44,712 million yuan, an increase of 10,43% than that in 2005.
    The report in the first quarter issued by Shanghai Energy shows that the primary business income in the first quarter is 1,246,734,790.63 yuan, an increase of 19.86%, which is mainly due to sale increase of aluminum products in Jiangsu Datun Aluminum Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Shanghai Energy.
     Outlook 2007, the coal and electricity industrials are influenced significantly by the state¡¯s macroeconomic policies, the future of which has certain uncertainty. However, the overall situation in electrolytic aluminum industry is good, since the tight supply of alumina has been improving and the alumina price will be maintained at a reasonable price.
     In 2007 the company plans to invest 790 million yuan in fixed assets, 440 million yuan of which will be used for industry chain to improve overall business advantages, and the rest of which will be used in simple reproduction.
