    The US import of Aluminium semi-finished products reflected steady during June-Nov’19; marginal dip on Y-o-Y

    The US import of Aluminium semi-finished products (plates, sheets, bars, etc.) from Vietnam reflected a steady market during June-Nov’19 with a total volume of 10,320 tonnes.

    In June’19 the total import of US from Vietnam was accounted for 1470 tonnes, whereas in July’19 it was accounted at 1700 tonnes, a rise of 15.64%.

    The US import of aluminium semi-finished products from Vietnam showed a marginal drop in August’19 and the volume stood at 1680 tonnes, while in September’19 the import volume again reflected a drop, though marginal, with total import accounted at 1630 tonnes.

    In October’19 the US import from Vietnam stood at 1730 tonnes, a growth by 6.13%. Again the growth trend remained positive in Nov’19, as the total import stood at 2110 tonnes, a rise of 21.96%.

    The US import of aluminium semi-finished products from Vietnam showed marginal dip by 11.50% on Y-o-Y. During June-Nov’18 the import stood at 22,600 tonnes and in 2019 during the same phase it reflected 20,000 tonnes, de-growth by 2600 tonnes.
