CS Aluminium Corporation certified against ASI Performance Standard

CS Aluminium Corporation (CSAC) has received Aluminium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) Performance Certification for four production facilities and headquarters in Taiwan. The certification covers re-melting and casting, hot rolling, cold rolling and finishing for the manufacture of aluminium plates, rolls, sheets and foil.

Fiona Solomon, Chief Executive Officer of ASI said: “ASI warmly congratulates CSAC, the largest manufacturer of rolled aluminium products in Taiwan, on their Performance Standard Certification. Their integrated facilities, which manufacture products for building and construction, automotive, packaging, electronics, and ship-building sectors, among others, have an important role to play in enabling customers in those key downstream sectors to source responsibly produced aluminium products. ”

The ASI Certification program is the only comprehensive voluntary sustainability standard initiative for the aluminium value chain. The independent, third-party audit of the CSAC facilities was carried out by DNV GL.
