    Alumina price in China stands higher at RMB2486/t; A00 aluminium ingot price gains RMB60/t

    The average spot alumina price increased by RMB 6 per tonne or 0.24 per cent on Tuesday, 18 February 2020, after remaining flat on February 14 and February 17. Alumina price in China stood at RMB 2486 per tonne, from RMB 2480 per tonne. The prices of alumina rose across East and Central China markets today.


    Alumina prices in East and Central markets climbed RMB 10 per tonne each to stand at RMB 2490 per tonne and RMB 2500 per tonne. Their average prices are expected to range at RMB 2480- 2500 per tonne and RMB 2480-2520 per tonne. In North and South markets, the price remained unchanged at RMB 2500 per tonne and RMB 2520 per tonne.


    After a continuous fall for the past four days in a row, A00 aluminium ingot price in China recorded a hike by RMB 60 per tonne to stand at RMB 13610 per tonne. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 13590 per tonne and RMB 13630 per tonne. Spot aluminium contract is likely to be traded at a discount of RMB100-60 per tonne.


    Aluminium ingot price in Foshan stood at RMB 13660 per tonne, up RMB 60 per tonne. Ingot prices in Wuxi and Hangzhou inched up by RMB 30 per tonne each to stand at RMB 13590 per tonne each. Aluminium ingot prices in Chongqing, Shenyang, Tianjin, Linyi, and Gongyi increased to stand at RMB 13640 per tonne, RMB 13605 per tonne, RMB 13590 per tonne, RMB 13670 per tonne and RMB 13485 per tonne.


    The price of aluminium alloy (A356) registered an increase of RMB 50 per tonne to stand at RMB 14300 per tonne today The Aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and Aluminium alloy (ZLD104) prices rose by RMB 50 per tonne each to RMB 14200 per tonne each.
