Leading global aluminium producers RUSAL has invested a total of around 2.6 billion rubles in the development and modernization of the Bogoslovsk aluminum smelter and Bogoslovsk CHP over the past three years. This has included the re-equipment of Bogoslovsk aluminum smelter with latest technology which has resulted in an increase in the volume of alumina production of more than 55 thousand tonnes and a significant reduction in the cost of production. Both the decomposition unit and the pump stock at the Bogoslovsk aluminum smelter are being upgraded, and the tank equipment is being replaced.

As part of the equipment upgrade at Bogoslovsk CHP, the main equipment at the station is currently undergoing modernization to significantly improve the reliability and efficiency of the CHP.

Bogoslovsk aluminum smelter is an alumina refinery, located in Krasnoturyinsk, Sverdlovsk region, Russia. It uses bauxite of the North Ural Deposit SUBR as a raw material.
