Building on the success of its first two e-magazines “Aluminium LeaderSpeak 2019”and “Aluminium Industry 4.0: Drivers & Change Makers”, AlCircle has launched its region focused e-magazine on the topic “Aluminium Middle East: Focus 2020”.

In ex-China world, Middle East aluminium sector plays a crucial role as one of the leading producers and suppliers of aluminium.  The region has attracted huge investments in their respective countries as part of the regional drive for industrial diversification to the non-oil sector leading to large scale expansions in the existing plants and construction of Greenfield projects in the aluminium sector. Low cost energy, skilled manpower and technological innovations have boosted the growth in last few years and the Middle East smelters now contribute about 10% of the total global aluminium supply.

It's a known fact that GCC smelters are amongst the technically most advanced and environmentally clean smelters in the world. Both; the aluminium companies in middle east region as well as many overseas companies (technology/service providers); are working together to enable constant innovation & transformation in the sector. Constantly upgrading and expanding, the Middle East Aluminium sector has created substantial opportunities for the global EPC and technology sector.  Hence, the region’s significance goes beyond the fact that it is a leading producer of aluminium.  The region is also working towards upstream integration and downstream expansion to develop a complete aluminium ecosystem.

The e-magazine is highlighting how the diversification strategies, smart investment and implementation of new-age technologies are revolutionising the aluminium production and processing sector in the Middle East despite the scarcity of key materials like bauxite and alumina.  Our exclusive e-magazine “Aluminium Middle East: Focus 2020” is featuring the companies which are driving this growth in the Middle East and share their perspective, strategy & focus areas for aluminium in year 2020, in.

A number of global leaders from across the value chain from the production and technology sector, with projects and investments in the Gulf aluminium industry have shared their perspectives on how the Middle-East aluminium industry is moving and what is expected in near future.
