Hind Aluminium's revenue declines 21% YoY in September quarter

Hind Aluminium Industries Limited, a manufacturer of aluminium & alloy conductors and aluminium wire rods for use in power transmission and distribution applications, announced unaudited consolidated financial results for the quarter half year ended 30 September 2019.
Revenue from Operation dropped 20.62 per cent year-on-year. Revenue declined from INR 138.41 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2018 to INR 109.87 crore in the quarter ended 30 September 2019. Revenue stood at INR 245.70 crore for the half-year ended September 2019.
Hind Aluminium Industries had reported revenue of INR 555.40 crore for the year ended 31 March 2019.
Hind Aluminium Industries Limited is engaged in manufacturing conductors for power transmission and distribution in Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Silvassa (UT), India. The plant also manufactures wire rods and flipped coils of aluminium.
Net loss Hind Aluminium Industries stood at INR 2.65 crore in the quarter ended September 2019 as against a net profit of INR 0.03 crore in the quarter ended September 2018.
