Sri Lanka's Hayleys Group aluminium subsidiary Alumex PLC has introduced of a new range of internationally accredited aluminium proprietary product ranges for the domestic and commercial markets under the Alumex Building Systems brand. The new ABS range is designed to withstand tough weather conditions and is recommended specially for high-rises,- accommodating a glazing thickness up to 24mm, and comprised of unitized curtain wall systems - both structural glazing and beaded type; windows, doors and sliding systems.

Notably, the testing of the entire ABS range is carried out according to the American Society for Testing and Materials standards in an international independent laboratory in Dubai which is United Kingdom Accreditation Services accredited.

This introduction represents the latest in a series of pioneering initiatives by Alumex PLC which launched their first tested sliding door and casement window systems in 2016. The company continuously designs and adds to its massive portfolio of products in order to cater to the rapidly increasing market demand in Sri Lanka's burgeoning construction sector.
