According to the date released by the local consultant company that the output of primary aluminum in Russia in April increased by 4.0% year-on-year to 38,038 tons

The total output of primary aluminum from Jan to April is 1,260,474 tons, an 3.0% increase over the same period last year, which means that the output of primary aluminum in Russia begins to rise gradually. In the past two years, the output ratio was 2% which reflected the effectiveness of technology of local smelters.

Smelting capacity is still maintaining a growing trend, but the main driving force comes from the Hakesi smelter with annual yield of 300,000 tons.

The smelter was put into operation in last December and is excepted to continue until November this year. The target production is 234,000 tons this year. Source:
