Italian yard Cantiere delle Marche has reportedly launched 37.35 metre explorer yacht Acciaio 123, built from a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. The exterior styling and naval architecture of the yacht is designed by Hydro Tec. Acciaio 123 is the second unit in the CdM’s Acciaio series and follows the Acciaio 105, which was launched last year.
Described by the yard as “impeccably contemporary”, the explorer features sophisticated interiors designed in-house with the owners. The total accommodation capacity is for up to 12 guests in five staterooms. Meanwhile, the crew quarters are allowed for up to seven staffs.
Key features of the vehicle include an open-plan saloon on the main deck with separate areas for dining and lounging. Numerous interior spaces are spread across three decks, while the galley is located to port and the owner’s stateroom sits forward of the main deck.
Propulsion comes from twin Caterpillar engines for a top speed of 13 knots and a range of 5,500 nautical miles at 10 knots.
Co-founder and sales and marketing director of CdM, Vasco Buonpensiere, said: “I am really looking forward to showing this vessel to the market: her technical areas are just incredible as far as finishing, layout, unrivalled engineering and interiors are really surprising in terms of volume and use of the space.”
