    Alumina price in China continues to rise to reach RMB 2542/t; A00 aluminium ingot price shows no change

    As on Thursday, 05 September 2019, the average spot price of alumina further recorded an increase of RMB 9 per tonne or 0.36 per cent from September 4. The price stood at RMB 2542 per tonne. The prices of alumina rose across major China markets today.

    The average alumina spot price in South China market rose to RMB 2495 per tonne today, up RMB 5 per tonne from its previous price. Alumina prices in East and Central climbed RMB10 per tonne each to stand at RMB2550 per tonne and RMB2540 per tonne. Alumina price in North China is up by RMB 10 per tonne at RMB 2560 per tonne as of September 05.

    A00 aluminium ingot price remained unchanged at RMB 14400 per tonne as of Thursday, 05 September 2019. The average prices are expected to range between RMB 14380 per tonne and RMB 14420 per tonne.

    Aluminium ingot price in Foshan stood RMB20 per tonne lower to RMB 14450 per tonne. Aluminium ingot prices in Shenyang and Gongyi increased RMB 15 per tonne and RMB 5 per tonne to stand at RMB 14355 per tonne and 14305 per tonne on Thursday. Ingot prices in Chongqing and Tianjin stood at RMB 14430 per tonne and RMB 14360 per tonne, down RMB 10 per tonne and RMB 20 per tonne.

    The prices of aluminium alloy (ZLD102) and aluminium alloy (ZLD102) stood at RMB 15150 per tonne and RMB 15100 per tonne, up RMB 50 per tonne each. Their average price is expected to range at RMB15000- 15300 per tonne and RMB15000- 15200 per tonne.
