Windows, Doors & Facades (WDF) 2019, the fourth edition of Middle East’s largest event dedicated to windows, doors and facades will take place from September 24 to 26 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Innovative products and new facades solutions will be showcased at one of the most popular events for the end user applications of a number of materials including aluminium, steel and PVC in the construction sector.  While new-age buildings like the Museum of the Future are in course of construction in Dubai and the region, tomorrow’s landmarks that promise to mesmerise the passer by will start taking shape at the event, said a statement.

Next generation of façade solutions by leading manufacturers will be presented during the event, which will allow architects and developers to break their creative limits and boost their imagination.

Benjamin Beer, head of façades at Ramboll, said: “The facade industry is pushing many new products on the market, and the whole sector evolves quickly in response to client demands. It is therefore very important to attend the event and discover these new products.”

Schüco, a huge investor in R&D and a world leader in the fenestration industry, will also present its latest innovations at the event. Schüco is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality window, door and façade systems made from aluminium, PVC-U and steel.

Aluwood Emirates, a leader in the aluminium external envelopes industry in the Arabian Gulf, will display a variety of opening systems, made from natural wood internally and aluminium metal externally.

The company's civil engineer, Emile Touma, said: “Building facade has been considered as the largest and most important element in the overall performance of a building. Through high level operational reliability, extensive machining tools for fabrication and installation, and computer numerical control machine, Aluwood Emirates offers to the Gulf industry a unique high-end Italian product, for residential and commercial buildings.”

More than 170 brands from around the globe, including Orgadata, Gutmann, Elumatec, Reynaers, Hueck, Emmegi, and MJ Metal, will be participating in WDF this year. According to Benjamin Piper, Partner and Design Principal at Killa Design,

More than an exhibition, the Windows, Doors & Facades event will promote industry best practices and knowledge sharing through an extensive, free, and CPD-certified educational programme.
