    Alba CEO attends 12th Harbor Aluminium Outlook Summit

    Aluminium Bahrain B.S.C. (Alba) announced it was a sponsor and a key participant in one of the leading events in the world aluminium industry, the 12th Harbor Aluminium Outlook Summit. The event was held from 4 – 6 June 2019 in Chicago, USA.

    Tim Murray, Chief Executive Officer of Alba took part in the Executive Panel on 5 June, covering the topics: Section 232 One Year After, Lifting of Sanctions Impact, Supply Competition in North America/Europe, and Sourcing Challenges.

     Alba’s Chief Executive Officer, Tim Murray, said: “The Harbor Aluminium Outlook Summit is one of the world’s most strategic events that gives in-depth insights on the aluminium industry. It is also a well-known platform to connect and engage with our peers from the aluminium business and its various sectors.

    As we are anticipating Potline 6 to be fully commissioned in Q3 2019, we look forward to building as well as strengthening networking opportunities, especially in the North American market for our Value-Added products.”

    Alba was also represented by the Chief Marketing Officer Khalid Latif, Director Marketing Boris Santosi, Manager Sales Alba Americas Patrick Hudson as well as the Alba Americas team.

    Alba had a stand at the event’s exhibition, showcasing the latest developments in its flagship Line 6 Expansion Project.​
