Coffee lovers’ favourite Nespresso and prestigious stationer Caran d’Ache’s successful partnership has reportedly launched a second limited edition of ballpoint pen made from Nespresso's recycled aluminium coffee capsules.

The pen is dressed in the same deep hue of green representing Nespresso’s master origins India capsule and celebrating one of the most popular coffees from Nespresso’s range.

Jean-Marc Duvoisin, CEO of Nespresso, said: “We’re delighted to be partnering once again with Caran d’Ache and bringing consumers this unique object, a true celebration of the infinite recyclability of aluminium. When consumers recycle with Nespresso, their capsule continues its journey. We believe this special collaboration gives coffee lovers something to write home about.”

Last year around May, Nespresso and Caran d’Ache had partnered and produced the first limited edition of ballpoint pen ‘the classic 849’ with recycled aluminium coffee capsules. The limited edition 849 Nespresso was presented in the satin midnight blue of Dharkan, celebrating one of the most popular coffees from Nespresso’s permanent range.

These pens are designed to remind consumers of the infinite durability of aluminium which can be re-melted and re-used again and again.

Carole Hubscher, Caran d’Ache’s President, said, “We are pleased to write the second chapter of this collaboration with Nespresso after the unprecedented success of our first partnership. It is very encouraging to see our consumers positively responding to design innovations founded on sustainable development, a value that Caran d’Ache has held dear since 1915.”
