Chinese Ambassador to the United States has Called on America Not to Miss the "the Belt and Road" Development Opportunit

(Aluminium Network) Cui Tiankai, China'a ambassador to the United States published a signed article on the website of Fortune magazine, called the United States not to miss the "the Belt and Road" development opportunity.

Cui Tiankai stated the Belt and Road proposed to continue the footprint of the ancient land and sea Silk Road linking Asia, Europe and Africa, carry forward the spirit of Silk Road. Today's "the Belt and Road" has developed into a super large scale cooperation platform and growth impetus. Now there are more than 120 countries and 29 international organisations have signed cooperation agreement with China.

Cui Tiankai pointed out that "the Belt and Road" initiative has brought the world together as never before. While the United States chose to stay out of it and missed many opportunities for development.

He thinks "the Belt and Road" presents opportunities everywhere for American companies.
Honeywell International is committed to supporting oil and gas development along the "the Belt and Road" route; General Electric Company has singned several power and energy supply agreements with "the Belt and Road" partners; Caterpillar Inc is pushing to address power shortage troubles in Pakistan within "the Belt and Road" framework; Citibank provides financing for projects of "the Belt and Road" countries which involved in the construction.

He stated that China welcomes more and more American companies to join in, the potential will be limitless if China and the United States work together to advance this cause.
