Starbucks and Nestlé have announced the launch of Starbucks by Nespresso coffee capsules. Starbucks by Nespresso is the first product jointly developed since the two companies formed the Global Coffee Alliance in August last year. Each capsule is made of aluminium and is recyclable as a part of the Nespresso recycling program.

Tony Matta, President of Nestlé Starbucks Coffee said: “Starbucks® by Nespresso is a product that we have been very excited about since the formation of the Global Coffee Alliance.”

“Within this partnership, we are constantly searching for ways to elevate the at-home experience, and Starbucks® by Nespresso is the perfect way to bring a new, exciting coffee experience into the homes of our customers.”

The capsules will be available in four different flavours, including Starbucks Espresso Roast, Starbucks Blonde Espresso Roast, Starbucks Single-Origin Colombia Coffee and Starbucks Pike Place Roast. All these products are made with 100 per cent high-quality arabica coffee.

The capsules will be available on Amazon.com, Walmart.com and Jet.com starting in early May.
