Production at Brazil Alumina decreased by five per cent to 944,000 tonnes in the nine months ended March 2019, “as boiler performance and power outages impacted production and our ability to realise the full benefits of the De-bottlenecking Phase One project.” In Q3 FY2019, alumina production stood at 308,000 tonnes, down seven per cent QoQ.
Sales from Brazil Alumina declined 10 per cent to 866,000 tonnes in the nine months ended March 2019.
