Apple introduces new MacBook Air made out of 100% recycled aluminium

Apple never fails to surprise its consumers and woo them with uniquely featured products. Following the legacy, it has recently unveiled a new line of MacBook Air laptops made out of 100 per cent recycled aluminium. Therefore, the weight of the device is reduced to 1.25 kilos from 1.35 kilos.

10 per cent thinner than the previous generation MacBook Air, available in gold, silver or space grey, powered by Intel’s eighth-generation Core processors, this new addition of Apple has ample features to lure consumers. Buyers will even have the option to choose the device with either 8GB memory or 16GB memory, with storage options go all the way to 1.5TB – for a price.

For the first time, the new MacBook Airs will offer Touch ID built-in to the keyboard and a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5 CPU of unspecified nomenclature capable of boosting to a lap-warming 3.6GHz, offering Intel's integrated UHD Graphics 617.

This built-in Touch ID, supported by Apple's T2 security chip, is intended to offer a pleasant experience to the users while using Apple Pay to purchase goods and services online.

Talking of prices, the new MacBook Airs will be priced from £1,199 to £1,399 - the same in pounds sterling as in dollars - for the base models. The only difference between the base £1,199 model and the £1,399 model is the SSD storage capacity.
