    Poland’s aluminium household articles import to grow in 2018 after a decline last year

    Poland’s imports of commodities increased 10.9 percent year-on-year to EUR 16,500 million in December 2017. The country imports good amount of aluminium household articles from the global market. China and Italy are the key countries from where Poland sourced maximum volume of aluminium household articles.  


    China and Italy exported about 5948 tonnes and 2121 tonnes of aluminium household articles respectively in 2017, according to recent statistics.



    International trade data shows that Poland imported about 9228 tonnes of aluminium household articles in 2017, down from 10914 tonnes a year ago. The total aluminium household articles import volume is expected to increase to 9390 tonnes in 2018..


    Poland's total import of aluminium household articles was valued at US$63 million in 2016. In 2017, the country imported aluminium household articles worth US$57 million. The total value of aluminium household articles import is estimated to reach US$56 million this year.
