All the mining equipment belonging to Exton Cubic Group Limited, which was seized on the instruction of the Ashanti Regional Minister, Simon Osei Mensah, and the District Chief Executive of the Atwima Mponua District, has been released.

Simon Osei Mensah has directed the regional police command to release equipment belonging to company’s sub-contractor, Ibrahim Mahama’s Engineers and Planners (E&P).

"You are to take the particulars of all the equipment before their release. Additionally, they should acknowledge receipt of same. Thanks for your support and co-operation," according to a letter sighted by Citi News from the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council to the Ashanti Regional Police Command.

The company had filed a suit against the Ashanti Regional Minister and the District Chief Executive of the Atwima Mponua District on August 20, 2017 for seizure of their mining equipment.

Exton Cubic Group Limited can now explore bauxite in the Ashanti Region following the cancellation of revocation order of bauxite mining lease.
